This journey began when I was thinking of things I could make myself to give my family and friends for Christmas. Gift cards are cool and all but as someone who has always appreciated the personal touch of handmade gifts, I wanted to create something truly special for my favorite people.
That's when I stumbled upon the world of non-toxic soy and lotion candles. Intrigued by the idea of crafting something both beautiful and beneficial, I embarked on a mission to learn everything I could about this unique craft.
What drew me to soy candles was their natural, eco-friendly nature. Unlike most of the candles I have always purchased made from paraffin, soy candles are made from renewable soybean oil, making them a safer choice for both our health and the environment.
But why stop at just soy candles? As a kid, I remember my mom having a lotion candle beside her bed. I was fascinated that (even though I was supposed to stay away from fire) my mom would let me dip my fingers into the melted wax and rub it into my skin. It smelled so good and made my skin feel amazing! Since then, I've hardly encountered any lotion candles, prompting me to realize that many people probably haven't experienced this! Why not merge my favorite scents with moisturizing properties, allowing more people to indulge in this awesome experience? I soon delve into the wonderful world of lotion candles. These candles, made from nourishing ingredients like shea butter and coconut oil, not only fill the room with a heavenly aroma but also leave your skin feeling soft and hydrated.
Through countless hours of experimentation and refinement, I've honed my craft to create candles that I'm truly proud of. Each one is carefully hand-poured and lovingly crafted to perfection, ensuring that every candle made is a true reflection of the care and thoughtfulness behind it.
